Born and raised in Munich, Germany, I came to South Beach Miami in 1998 with the intention of experiencing life abroad, broadening my horizon and learning about the American way of life. I was only planning on staying for one year, but as life goes, things don’t always work out as planned and Miami Beach had other plans for me.  One wife & 2 sons later I am still here and have no intention on going anywhere near the cold again. At least not for more than a few days of skiing. At the point of this writing, I have been here for almost 20 years. 

My position as a production manager for an apparel sourcing office taught me the responsibility that comes with dealing in high value transactions. It also allowed me to become skilled in quickly analyzing all kinds of situations and to make decisions that create the best possible outcome for the customer. I believe that my customer service oriented approach has been a major contributor in building my real estate business over the last twelve years. 

My first 10 years in Miami, I lived in Miami Beach or to be exact, South Beach. As a resident and homeowner I learned to love Miami Beach and realize that it is a very special place to live and work in. This is were my decision to make Miami Beach the hub of all of my real estate related activity was born. As time went on I have expanded my service area of activity to Miami Downtown condos, Edgewater condos, Brickell Avenue condos as well as Coconut Grove condos to the South, and Bal Harbor, Surfside , Sunny Isles and Aventura condos to the North.

Miami is still a growing city, and while there are no more steals to be found, I believe that there is still ample opportunity to find tremendous value with lots of long term upside potential. Miami Real Estate is not a local industry, but a world wide one, with people from all corners of the earth coming here to enjoy the beaches, shopping, restaurants and lifestyle Miami has to offer. There are also lots of foreigners simply seeing the US and thus Miami as a safe haven for their investment dollars and Miami condos and homes provide a great investment vehicle for someone looking to diversify  their portfolio by adding some US holdings.

I started working as a Miami Beach Realtor in 2006. This was the time when the boom of all booms ended resulting in the crash of all crashed. The housing market was in a sharp decline, putting Miami Beach realtors out of business by the thousands. Fortunately I was lucky enough to make it through the first few years and consistently grow my business year over year, which I feel very grateful for. I would like to believe that this fact is not solely driven by good fortune, but also by the fact that I give honest advise to my clients even if it costs me a sale since I believe in long term relationships do think that doing the right thing always pays off, even if the payoff is not immediately obvious.

If there is one thing I don’t like about the real estate business, it is that it’s transactional which means that many Miami Beach Realtors forget about their customers once the transaction has been completed.  I aim to build customer relationships for life and don’t measure success in the amount of money I make in a single transaction, but in the happiness of my customers and the resulting referrals. 

After all the real estate business is still a people business and I strongly rely on referrals for my business growth, therefore customer satisfaction has to be at the core of my strategy for long term success.
